When our bodies are at rest, it is the perfect time in which our bodies can heal and rejuvenate. The yoga of rest, is a practice in which we can learn to rest deeply unencumbered by outside distractions and a chance to take meditative step inward.
Different then sleep, restorative yoga gives the organ bodies time to restore while in the waking state. In this training you will learn the art of teaching restorative yoga and it’s numerous benefits to both body and mind. Learning how to guide the students into the postures mindfully with comfort and support, and creating a safe environment for the students to unfold into a deep state of relaxation.
About the teacher Chrissy:
"Lighthearted, fun, and passionate, Chrissy radiates positivity. She teaches her classes using her wide-range of life experiences and the extensive knowledge she gained in her 18 years of yoga study. She is well versed in various systems of yoga and was a Certified Anusara Yoga teacher for 15 years. As a Certified E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, Chrissy enthusiastically teaches public classes, workshops, Immersions, restorative yoga, kids' yoga, private lessons, and Teacher Trainings throughout the Bay area and abroad.
This is a Restorative Teacher Training. In this training you will deepen your own practice and learn how to teach Restorative yoga in a save way.
The Training is at Open Yoga, Groningen.
